2) What is it:        it's the official    "independence-time" (Day/Week),
   for  the Jewish-People,   its when  the Jews left the slavery in Egypt to go onto freedom
   and become a Nation,     not just the 12 Tribes/sons of Jacob anymore,   
   but an independent  Nation (People) ----first time ever.

      with a full scaled Holiday on the first day (or 2 ovss),

       Exodus  from Egypt.
