McLaren F1
This is the awesome McLaren F1, the car that caused so many problems for Jaguar's XJ220. The McLaren F1 is the fastest road car in the world, with a top speed of 241MPH. There were only 100 McLaren F1s built, each costing a ridiculous £600,000 new. The main reason for this sky high price is the fact that the body of the car is made from super light, yet super strong carbon fibre and the underneath of the bonnet is covered in 24ct solid gold. The reason for this; gold is the best heat reflector and it has to reflect the intense heat away from the massive engine to stop it from over-heating. The carbon fibre body makes the McLaren F1 lighter than a stripped down Ferrari F40 but it still has little extras like CD player, heater, electric windows, etc.
