Here are the changes I've made so far.....

To date: 11/01/00
EdelbrockPerformer Carb, Intake, & Cam. I did a stock rebuilt on the heads, The original 327 has been bored .030 over.
Three core radiator, Flex-a-Lite fan, plus a 14" electric push fan for insurance on those hot days. Right now I'm using the Accel
daul point conversion kit, but I plan on a "Mallory" HEI conversion, Blaster2 coil, "Accel" 8.8mm wires and "Hedman" headers. I'll look into heads later, probably Edelbrocks bare head,
I here the head is cool, but not the parts on it...... I don't know yet.
I striped the interior down to the metal and paint rustoleum black. New carpet, gauges, tach and I also moved the batt. to the trunk. There is only one sqeek to find in the dash, heat controls I think........I'll restor the seats this winter, everything else is in pretty good shape.
I do all the work myself...,
I think doing the suspension was the most work, and the most rewarding.
I used Moog springs w/A/C to add stiffness. All the bushings in the front
end are blue polyurathane, by "Energy Suspension".
I'm still looking into shocks, some cheap NAPA ones for now.
I also want a new thicker sway bar......soon I hope.
As of now, this
is what it looks like.
As for the body....... I'm still working on it. I need a bumper
trunk lid, some light body work, a cowl hood is on the way. The front spoiler isn't original, I just added it.
I just picked up some used "Center Line" wheels
The car finally looks like a Hot Rod!! Temporary Gray primer paint while the body comes together looks real tough, maybe I'll never paint it. I also just installed a "Pro Ratchet" by "B&M",
I'll post a picture soon. There is a pic on the "Restoration" page.
Just not finished.
