My first mod was a cold air induction system. One of these is supposed to net you around 10hp to the rear wheels, although the companys that make them claim 20hp. |

This was my second mod. A Flow Tech Cutout, this little thing allows me to run open exhaust behind the catalytic converters. It's pretty loud and shakes the car at certain rpms, but I got 15 rear wheel hp from it so I can live with it open at the track. |

This is the 3rd mod I did. I noticed a significant increase in hp and tq. So far my best mod. I also had them coated by Paul Barry Motorsports of Macon GA. I would recommend Paul to anyone with a set of uncoated headers. Pauls work is A+, and his customer service can't be beat. Plus he's a fellow F-Body owner! |

This is the passenger side header after Paul coated it. I noticed a significant decrease in underhood temperatures with the coated headers vs. the stock manifolds! With the manifolds if I opened the hood while the engine was hot, I could feel a blast of hot air hit my face. Now when I open the hood I don't feel any change in temp. I can also place my hand 1" away from the header and it only feels warm!! |
