H&DMC was formed in 1902, the main aims of the club are the promotion and support of all forms of motorsport, with our organisation acting as a focal point for motoring enthusiasts in the local area. The club organises 12 car rallies, club tarmac and grass autotests, quizzes, table top rallies, navigational scatters and treasure hunts. Access to further events like stage rallies, road rallies, production car trials, single venue events, rallycross etc., is also arranged in association with other regional clubs in the Teesside Motor Sport Group. The vast majority of our events can be entered with a normal road car, you do not need a specialised competition car. There are a large amount of organised local events on offer within easy driving distance of Hartlepool, many of which require no more than a standard car and a desire to enjoy yourself. Come along and get involved, even Colin McRae had to start somewhere!

Hartlepool & District Motor Club meet every Monday Night (Except Bank Holidays) in the Blacksmiths Arms, Stockton Road, Hartlepool from 20:30. The pub is easy to find as it is next door to Cameron’s Brewery
