	Today dawned cool and beautiful..temperatures way below normal for May in Alabama. As usual, I woke up well before I had to -5:30am- but this afforded me some quiet time. I am going to Talladega to do some genealogical research on the Stockdales...Jefferson and Willie...this will include a trip to Oak Grove Cemetery where I know Jefferson is buried...hope to find my greatgrandmother Willie's grave. More later when I get back. It is now 8 pm and just getting home, but we found the Stockdale plot in Oak Hill. If you have never been there turn onto Spring St. off the main street in Talladega( Hiway 21). Just a couple blocks. Found a number of graves but not of Willie. Those we did find are posted on the 'Local Cemetery' page. Did go to Stockdale, but didnt find much there, except at the Stockdale Baptist cemetery found the grave of a Gertie DYE, born 1903. Connection with Eliza's family?? All in all a good day, even if my wife did waste an hour and a half in an antique store.
