When I first got Shane's CD back in May, I couldn't find any real websites (Mercury and country.com had some small ones, but not what I was looking for). I just saw Shane in person yesterday in Libertyville, IL for WUSN's Co ntry Jamboree. My family and I sat pretty far back, and he was wearing black, so we didn't really see him, though we heard him really well. He was fantastic!! Afterwards, he was in a booth autographing, and the line was VERY long. My sister and I stood in line for an hour, and then he said he had to catch a plane(we were almost there, too). But, the sweetie that he is, he came down the rest of the line (which wasn't too long by that time), and shook hands and autographed whatever people had. He was so clos , I was almost shaking. I told him he did a great job onstage, and he said thanks and gave me that gorgeous smile! I would have stayed in line as long as it took!! I missed some of SheDaisy, who were on after him, but it was worth it. He was the main draw for me. My goal is to go to another concert of his in the future and get a picture with him (I would blow that pic up and put it on my wall!). If only I had been a little farther up in line! |
