My role : I am incharge of the web development department which includes visualization, creating, programming, hosting, maintainance of the websites.

Some of the sites I developed are as follows:

www.fabricsourceindia.net : This is our company site which is very userfriendly site where the browser gets what he wants from the site. The main highlight of this site is that it has three searches i.e., productwise, citywise, companywise of over 400 companies and over 600 product information. This is the on-line version of the sourcing magazine which is a bi-monthly issues. There is current issue category where the current issue ( Menswear & Womenswear ) where the current issue company and product details will be displayed and in the next issue this current issues will automatically moves the database and will a part of the llisting as mentioned above.

This site was previously created with only HTML and Javascript i.e HTML for designing of the pages and Javascript for validation of the forms. Recently around one year this site was redone using ASP for more flexibility and faster in downloading. At present we are using Microsoft Access for our database and we have front end ( Visual Basic ) designed to update the database for the bi-monthly updates.
