Welcome to my JROTC Photo Gallery
This contains some photos of my JROTC career in high school. Mind you, most of these pix were taken while I was at the Ft. Sill JROTC Summer Camp, and we were all looking a little bit on the Ruff side!!!  At the camp, about 500 students form Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and other states around that general area were all gathered together in an old basic training camp in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma to get a little taste of what real basic traing (boot camp) is really like.  Some of the events that we participated in were an obstacle course, crtical thinking activities, physical training events, and at the end of the week, we had a picnic to relax and think about all of the events that had been done in the previous weeek and get in last goodbyes.  Well, I think that is enough jabber, don't you?  I just wanted to give you an idea of what all these pix were about.  So, now I hope you enjoy what I have so far.

This is a shot of me and a few of the platoon after a run through the obstacle course at Ft. Sill.  I am the tallest one, on the back row, looking to the left. Don't we look Yummy!

This shot is of me during my day holding the Company Commander position. At the camp, certain cadets (students, kids) are selected to be in certain leadership positions.  I was selected that day, which means that I was in charge of about 140 cadets, for a day.  This was about the best day to have that position because it was the opening cerimonies day!!! Sorry for the glare.

Here I am going through the muddiest and funnest part of the obstacle course.  You know, they say that mud is good for the skin, well my skin was real good that day!!

This is  shot of me in the 10th grade at the beginning of my JROTC career.  This is during the week where Drill Sergeants come from Ft. Sill to the school and treat us like soilders in the Army, but a little watered down.
