Marie Osmond once sang, "I'm a little bit country!" Donnie sang, "I'm a little bit Rock and Roll!" I wouldn't have been surprised if these were not part of Shania and Mutt's wedding vows. When Shania met Mutt backstage at Fan Fair '93, nobody would have ever guessed that the results would have been two, yes "two", perfect marriages. The marriage between "man and woman" and the perfect marriage of "rock and country". In either case, they certainly make beautiful music together.
Although musicians have had many songs that have cracked both the pop charts and the country charts, such as the Eagles "Lyin' Eyes", no artist has been able to merge country and rock together on a consistent basis like Shania Twain and her hubby Mutt Lange. It seems that each album gets better and better with the goal of fusing the best of country with the best of rock n' roll.
