Site Of The Month
Now that you are a member of the Shades Of Shame Webring, you are eligible for a chance to win the site of the month award. This award is given out to the site who acquires the most votes from site visitors each month. In addition to being part of the ring, there are a few more rules you must abide by before being allowed tow in this award:
- Your site MUST be a part of the Shades Of Shame webring. If you have not yet joined, please do so now.
- If you vote for yourself, you will be disqualified. Not only is it extremely obvious if you vote for yourself, but I can trace IP addresses VERY easily, and if I suspect someone is voting for themselves, they will be ineligible. So just don't do it. It's childish, and if you win an award you voted for yourself for, then in all actuality, you didn't win anything.
- When you win the award, your site will go through a once over from me just to make sure it is really deserving of the award. In 99.9% percent of the cases, I won't pull the award from someone. But, if I do see your site takes a millenium to load, there are a ton of broken links and images, and/or you've stolen things from other pages, I'll pull it.
- You must link to the voting booth somewhere on your site. You don't have to use the vote graphic provided below, any kind of link anywhere is fine. The URL for the voting booth is http://www.freevote.com/booth/shadesofshame.
