I'm a 44year old RN with a 7 and 10 year old and a mystified but tolerant
husband of 22 1/2 years. I only "discovered" Highlander about a year ago
and the forum about 6 months ago. I have always been a quiet, private fan
of things and this is the first time I've ventured out in public with my
"fandom". I guess Highlander and the computer age did it!
I think DM is the ultimate "hero" and AP is just perfect in the role. I've liked EVERY episode (some more then others) and am loyal to the end!

I found Highlander in October 1996 when I broke my ankle and was stuck in bed for six weeks. I've been hooked ever since. Of course, I first fell madly in love with Adrian Paul, but then fell in love with the entire cast and show. It has brought me a lot of joy and entertainment in my life, and some very good friends.

26 yo med student, have always been intriugued with life extension. during my first degree I started wathcing the Highlander Series and got into it, I also read an article on Durk Pearson and Sandy Shaw over in Nevada and their whole Life Extension deal so I started taking vitamins. After I graduated I worked for the Life Extension Foundation in Ft. Lauderdale and fell in love with medicine then after a year, quit LEF to get another degree and pursue Anti-Aging and Life Extension Medicine. -Now I'm a 2nd year Medical Student at Ross University. I am intrigued by the whole Immortality/Regeneration concept of Highlander.

the first movie, but enjoy the series much more, thanks to the fantastic
cast members involved. I had the pleasure of talking with Jim & Peter
on the HL cruise in November 1997, and even though Peter insisted I have
an accent (he should talk). it only reinforced the fact that we all are
mesmerized, with good reason, to the most gracious and deserving men of
Highlander. ( EG, you rule, too.) I am a wannabe MFWC member, as I did
try to get Peter to part with his shirt on the cruise.......I think myself
lucky to be included with such an eclectic grouping of individuals...........Let

I was born in '60 in Gettysburg, PA. I am the father of two and a voracious reader collector of many books (incl. several hundred comic books). I enjoy all music (except disco and Kenny G. [whom I despise]) especially jazz (in all it's forms), and movies a great deal. I probably watch too much television. The shows I enjoy the most: Highlander, X Files, Profiler, Gunsmoke (the BEST thing to ever air, IMHO), Charlie Rose (the only talk show I'll watch), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Newhart (the greatest series ending episode in the history of TV!), and of course, the cartoons: Scooby Doo (pre Scrappy Doo), Doug, Angry Beavers, Cow and Chicken, Swat Cats, Daria, Rupert, New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Timon and Pumba, and the classic Tom and Jerry 'toons (among others).
I am a huge fan of all things Japanese (especially their history and haiku). My favorite eps. of HL: 1) "Samurai" and 2) "Duende" Any and all things else are open to discussion, if you so choose.

Hello To My Fellow Forumlanders. Since you last heard from me, I was able to get through a very trying time at the end of last year. But, I was able to the have the best Christmas and New Year's ever. At least my beloved, The Phantom Highlander and I had a great Christmas and did that great tribute to those who passed away doing the past year (1998). Just recently, Phantom Highlander, The Great Falconi, Falconi, Jr and Little Talon, along with a team of heroic crime fighters helped The Atlanta Falcons at The Super Bowl last month! It was very wonderful! At least Valentine's Day was a grand adventure and very romantic!
